DESCRIPTION

These three videos were developed for display on Volarte's innovative 360° vertical screens at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá, Colombia. 

CONTEXT

El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá, Colombia, has been recognized for its commitment to sustainability, earning the prestigious LEED badge for its eco-conscious culture and architectural design. 

and besides their social media and prints around the airport they requested us to create captivating animations to highlight and elaborate on their environmentally friendly practices.

MY EXPERIENCE AND PROCESS

Throughout the development of these videos, we aimed to exceed expectations but we also learnt about not over complicate things, we were a little over the deadline. I could say it is one of our favorite milestones at Volarte because we applied various techniques including geometry nodes, water simulation, and morphing between shapes, we brought the project to life. Notably, we employed Anamorphic Distortion to enhance visual depth, creating a captivating "fake box effect" that added a unique dimension to the animation.
